Icelandic lichen cough syrup is a medical device used to protect and moisturize the oral mucosa and throat. Icelandic lichen cough syrup soothes the symptoms of dry cough, hoarseness, as well as the feeling of dryness, burning and sore throat.

The medical device Icelandic lichen cough syrup can be used as an auxiliary agent during bacterial and viral infections (e.g. colds, angina) as well as after diseases in order to soothe irritation of the oral mucosa and throat.
The medical device Icelandic lichen cough syrup is recommended for people who:
– feel symptoms of a dry, irritative cough,
– feel an irritation and a sore throat,
– feel pain and burning while swallowing,
– feel dryness of the mouth and throat caused by external factors (e.g. staying in unventilated, strongly heated or air-conditioned rooms),
– feel symptoms of hoarseness, which can occur for example as a result of straining the vocal cards.

Icelandic lichen cough syrup contains: Icelandic lichen thallus extract (Cetraria islandica L. Acharius), water, sucrose, glycerol, sodium benzoate, xanthan gum, citric acid, natural strawberry flavor.

Children aged 1 to 6: 5 ml of syrup 1-2 times a day depending on the need.

Children and adolescents from 6 to 18 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 3-4 times a day, as needed.

Adults: 10 ml of syrup 3-4 times a day, depending on the need.
